The perioperative coagulation is in practice on the one hand by acquired disorders of coagulation at z. B. mass infusion, polytrauma and peripartal hemorrhage, on the other hand by a variety of congenital haemostaseological conditions such. B. von Willebrand syndrome, complicated. In addition, civilization-related diseases (coronary heart disease, atrial fibrillation, stroke, peripheral arterial disease, venous thromboembolism, etc.) and their treatment with z. B. platelet aggregation inhibitors, vitamin K antagonists or new oral anticoagulants the safe control of patients through the risk of bleeding and thrombosis in the operating room and in the intensive care unit.
Therefore, the aim of this intensive workshop is to provide a profound knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of perioperative coagulation disorders, to work out the specifics of patients under anticoagulant therapy in the operating room and intensive care unit and effective and safe treatment strategies (and in small groups) Limitations of coagulation analysis and point-of-care coagulation diagnostics theoretically and practically presented.
