Pain is a highly nuanced symptom associated with several comorbidities that add to its complexity. The treatment of pain is furthermore challenging because of its subjective nature and the constantly evolving health care landscape. In addition to discussing the assessment and algorithmic treatment of chronic complex pain syndromes, it also informs the participants about cutting edge non-opioid interventional therapies, current research and its clinical implications, best practices for opioid prescribing, novel nonopioid pharmacotherapeutics and behavioral interventions.

• Identify comprehensive treatment principles in or der to provide compassionate and evidenced base care in complex chronic pain conditions
