Dutch Society of Cardiology (NVVC) Autumn Congress 2019

NVVC Autumn Congress 2019 is organized by Dutch Society of Cardiology / Nederlandse Vereniging voor Cardiologie (NVVC) and will be held from Nov 07 - 08, 2019 at Hotel Papendal, Arnhem, Gelderland, Netherlands.

Society is changing radically as a result of new, smart technologies, such as smartphones with apps and social media, but also big data, robotics and virtual reality. In healthcare we see technological developments moving faster every day. The sensors in our smartphone measure everything and there are countless. Health apps available. The patient gains more insight into his health by using pass counters and measuring blood pressure at home. These digital developments in and for healthcare create an interesting area of ??tension that raises various questions. What position will these digital developments take in cardiological care? What information are we going to share with each other? Who owns a patient's medical information?
