The Center for Pediatric Eating Disorders at Children's Medical Center Plano is the only pediatric eating disorder treatment center in the nation that holds the prestigious disease-specific Joint Commission accreditation in the treatment of eating disorders.

The Center enthusiastically announces the 5th Annual Symposium focusing on the theme of "Cultivating Connection: Innovations in Eating Disorders Treatment.” The symposium features our keynote speaker, Kristin Neff, Ph.D., who is a prominent figure in the architecture of mental health, nationally known for her research on Self-Compassion. Symposium presentation topics include the intersection of eating disorders and self-compassion, attachment, working with diverse populations, and family connections.
