Americas Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ACTRIMS) Forum is organized by Americas Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ACTRIMS) and will be held from Feb 28 - Mar 02, 2019 at Hilton Anatole, Dallas, Texas, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is researchers, clinicians, residents, students, postdoctoral fellows, and patient advocates who have an interest in precision medicine approaches for MS and in the future of disease modifying therapy.
Goals:
• Discuss precision-medicine approaches for MS diagnosis and management
• Review current knowledge of biomarkers differentiating different forms of MS and MS from other disorders
• Understand clinical, biological and radiological predictors of MS disease course
• Examine emerging biotechnologies applicable to MS
• Discuss algorithms and predictive models for MS management
• Provide mentorship to trainees and junior faculty interested in a career in MS research and/or clinical practice
• Ensure that research findings are disseminated to various stakeholder groups, including MS care providers, researchers, media outlets, social media, and patient advocacy groups
