American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) SCI Summit Annual Scientific Meeting is organized by American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) and will be held from Apr 02 - 05, 2019 at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of America.
Target Audience:
ASIA’s Annual Scientific Meeting includes healthcare professionals representing a variety of specialties involved in the management of spinal cord injury/disorder (SCI/D). Professionals attending include, but are not limited to: physicians, basic scientists and clinical researchers, physician assistants, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation counselors, OT, OTA, PT, PTA, as well as residents, fellows, and students from various professions.

Conference Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the ASIA 2019 Annual Scientific Meeting, participants will be able to:
• Explain to multidisciplinary clinicians who treat individuals with spinal cord injuries and their families regarding the most effective treatment methods.
• Discuss cutting edge treatments, as they apply to the entire treatment team, for individuals with spinal cord injury.
• Discuss state-of-the-art approaches to improving patient care and outcomes through the presentation and discussion of advances in research, medicine, and care and the impact they have on the rehabilitation patient and their support systems.
• Explain how to incorporate evidence-based research outcomes into the care of patients and their families.
• Discuss with other clinicians and researchers from other disciplines in order to better describe more comprehensive and effective treatment.
