Advanced Practice Providers (APP) Oncology Summit is organized by Horizon CME and will be held from Aug 16 - 17, 2019 at Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States of America.

Intended Learners:
Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Oncology Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of oncology patients.

CE Information:
AANP

This educational activity will be submitted to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners for approval of up to 13.0 contact hours of accredited education (hours pharmacology TBD).

AAPA
This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to request 13.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits from the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Total number of approved credits yet to be determined.

ACPE
This activity has been submitted to the Washington State Pharmacy Association for approval to award up to 12.0 credit hours. Washington State Pharmacy Association is accredited as an approver of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.

ANCC
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation through the joint providership of the Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation and Horizon CME. 

The Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Upon completion, NPs and RNs will be awarded up to 13 contact hours. 

Course Overview:
The goal of this summit is to share best practices, foster collaboration, and provide a forum for peer-to-peer interaction among Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in clinical practice who are actively engaged in the care of oncology patients. This summit will provide APP learners a broad scope of the latest developments and important current concepts in the multidisciplinary treatment of oncology patients. Additionally, the summit offers an intimate learning environment to facilitate interaction between attendees and faculty so that clinicians can discuss practical patient management issues and then apply their learning once they return to practice.

Summit registration fee is discounted $10 for one (1) day registration.
*Student is defined as currently enrolled in an advanced learning institution and/or studying in order to enter a particular profession.
