ACLP offers a self-assessment component that can earn CLP 2019 attendees eight (8) additional CME credits for maintenance of certification (MOC). These credits can apply to any psychiatry certification you hold; you can use them to meet your requirements for General Psychiatry, for example, as well as Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. This self-assessment is free for all ACLP members and just $20 for non-members registered for the meeting.
Meeting attendees registering after October 21 will be provided access to the self-assessment test prior to the meeting but will not receive test results and analysis until after the meeting.
CME certificates are provided only once the test permanently closes on Nov. 30.
Description:
The meeting theme, The Future of the Subspecialty, which will lay the foundation for an exciting program. This meeting is designed to highlight topics related to new clinical developments; medications, treatments, technology, research and education in our subspecialty.
Important topics in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry with a focus on the future of the subspecialty; Watch for Presidential Symposia on topics such as Women’s Mental Health, Integrative Medicine and Cardiology, Transplant Psychiatry and Cancer care. These sessions and others will be presented throughout the meeting, and all are welcome.
Some of the highlights of this year’s meeting:
• A half-day Updates in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry preconference course, featuring six speakers discussing updates on current C-L topics, presented free to members, who have registered for the annual meeting.
• Plenary sessions focused on The Future of C-L Psychiatry, by leaders in education, research, advocacy and clinical work in psychiatry and medicine.
• Specially chosen Presidential Symposia featuring prestigious leaders in our field, focusing on important current and future issues in C-L psychiatry.
• “Just-In-Time” sessions to keep attendees up to date on the newest pharmacology relevant to our field.
• 145+ scientific posters; 42 oral papers; 77 General Sessions
• Nearly 33 hours of CME credit available
• More networking time and social events to build your connections with C-L professionals: networking lunches, the ever-popular members’ welcome reception, and a mixer for all, that also includes time set aside for early-career attendees to have their own time to network
• Special Interest Group meetings and lunches with opportunities for meeting and joining new groups
