AAIP conducts a national health conference to serve as a forum for healthcare professionals, policy makes, and tribal/community members concerned with American Indian/Alaska Native health, healthcare, community wellness, and honoring Native Traditions. For almost 50 years, we have gathered together to discuss the pressing health concerns of American Indians/Alaska Native across the nation. Improving the quality of health care and access to needed medical services is very important. To do this, it is essential to consider a variety of ideas about health care that could potentially make a positive impact.
