• appreciate some of the nuances of retinal referrals
• understand the new perspectives on early AMD diagnosis
• learn some of the conundrums of supplement recommendations in patients
• diagnosed with AMD
• recognize manageable macular diseases that masquerade as AMD
• appreciate the gray areas of glaucoma and some of its red herrings
• understand the place of stem-cell technologies in glaucoma management
• realize the blood-flow contribution to glaucomatous optic neuropathy
• recognize the new technologies for glaucoma diagnosis and progression.
