87th Midwinter Conference for Otolaryngology is organized by Research Study Club of Los Angeles and will be held from Jan 11 - 12, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital - Salvatori Auditorium, Los Angeles, California, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event is Otolaryngology physicians as well as mid level providers such as physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
Learning Objectives:
• Consider utilizing new technology with the comfort of knowing how to manage the complications or unexpected outcomes (Multifocal IOLs and Astigmatic Correcting IOLs (TORIC)
• Help patients decrease their risk factors of vision loss by addressing systemic (hypotension) and anatomic changes that can lead to permanent visual loss.
• Counsel their patients about the latest in treatment for common retinal disease (diabetic retinopathy and ARMD) with the confidence that they are following the latest clinically proven guidelines.
• Describe how and when to implement the new glaucoma treatments both medically and surgically for mild to moderate glaucoma.
