74th National Conference of Tuberculosis and Chest diseases (NATCON)

74th National Conference of Tuberculosis and Chest diseases (NATCON) is organized by Anti TB Association of Tamilnadu under the aegis of Tuberculosis Association of India, Government Hospital of Thoracic Medicine (GHTM) and will be held from Dec 20 - 22, 2019 at The Leela Palace Chennai, State-Of-The-Art Sea-Facing Hotel, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Description:
This conference will serve as a platform for various professionals and experts in the field of Tuberculosis and chest diseases to share their knowledge and join hands in the fight against Tuberculosis with a goal of Eliminating TB from India by 2025.

Government Hospital of Thoracic medicine, Tambaram sanatorium is one of the oldest institutions in this country started in 1928 and spearheading the fight against Tuberculosis from the prechemotherapy era and the site where the domiciliary treatment of Tuberculosis originated. Today it is a 760 bedded hospital serving as a nodal centre for treatment of all forms of Tuberculosis including the drug resistant forms and serving as a centre of excellence for TB & HIV care.
