OVERVIEW

6 Day Implant Foundation Program is organized by Global Institute for Dental Education (gIDE) and will be held from Nov 21, 2019 - Jan 25, 2020 at Miami, Florida, United States of America. This Conference has been approved for a maximum of 100 CE Credits.

Overview:
gIDE Implant Foundation Program is intended for the beginner to intermediate implant clinician with a keen interest to understand the key principles and protocols in digital diagnostics, straight forward implant surgery, extraction site management, single and multiple implant restorations, management of the edentulous jaw and prevention of implant complications. The program is in 2 sessions: Nov 21 - 23, 2019 and Jan 23 - 25, 2020.

SESSION 1: NOV 21 – 23, 2019.

• Osseointegration, bone healing, and immediate loading
• Bone quantity and quality
• Implant design and biomechanics
• Patient selection and contraindications
• Extraction sites versus healed ridges
• Esthetic case versus functional case
• Flap design and patient preparation
• Tissue management
• Suturing techniques

DAY 2 LECTURE – DR. KYLE STANLEY
• Implant treatment planning and diagnostics
• Radiographic exams and CT scans
• Digital Implant Planning
• Implant restoration options and materials
• Diagnostic set up of teeth and smile design
• Dental Photography
• Abutment design, material, and timing for insertion

DAY 3 LECTURE – DR. MAMALY RESHAD
• Prosthodontic principles in implant dentistry
• Understand the partially edentulous implant patient
• Posterior single tooth implant restoration
• Posterior multiple teeth implant restorations
• Occlusal scheme protocols
• Screw-retained versus cemented
• The role of implant temporization
• Prosthetic materials used in posterior restorations

HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS
• Implant placement on plastic jaws
• Atraumatic extraction and socket graft on pig jaws
• Incision/suturing techniques
• CT scan diagnostic training
• Prosthetic components restoration
• Digital Implant Planning

SESSION 2: JAN 23 – 25, 2020

• Socket grafting procedures
• Buccal bone plate resorption
• Basic GBR ridge augmentation technique
• Implant surgery for single tooth patient
• Implant surgery for the partially edentulous patient

• Periimplantitis introduction and complications

DAY 5 LECTURE – DR. KYLE STANLEY
• Digital dentistry Introduction (CBCT, NobelClinician, guided surgery)
• Digital smile design
• Guided surgery introduction
• Nobel Clinician Communicator
• Esthetic implant dentistry introduction
• Liability, when to refer
• Marketing, treating your own patients

DAY 6 LECTURE – DR. MAMALY RESHAD
• Implant treatment planning and diagnostics
• Radiographic exams and CT scans
• Implant restoration options and materials
• Diagnostic set up of teeth and smile design
• Dental Photography
• Abutment design, material, and timing for insertion

HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS
• Implant placement on pig jaws (a: submerged b: one-stage)
• Guided surgery treatment planning and typodont guided surgery
• Implant temporization
