5th Annual Cleveland Breast Cancer Summit: Collaborating for a Cure is organized by Cleveland Clinic Center for Continuing Education and will be held from Aug 22 - 23, 2019 at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital Castele Learning Center, Cleveland, Ohio, United States of America.

Target Audience:
This symposium is designed for practicing physicians and other practicing allied health care professionals in medicine, women’s health, surgery, plastic surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, and pathology.

Accreditation:
The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Participants claiming CME credit from this activity may submit the credit hours to the American Osteopathic Association for Category 2 credit.

Program Overview:
The Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Center presents the 5th Annual Cleveland Breast Cancer Summit: Collaborating For A Cure, a live educational multi-disciplinary summit that will focus on the up-to-date reviews and treatment options for the advances in breast cancer immunotherapies, radiation/imaging, vaccinations, and HER2 proteins.

This summit will also offer an (optional) pre-meeting Hands-on Cadaver Surgery Skills Workshop (Non-CME) that includes instruction and collaboration between breast and plastic surgical teams, on incorporating innovative breast and auxiliary surgical techniques from world renowned experts. The morning cadaver lab will cover techniques for Oncoplastic Reduction Lumpectomy, while the afternoon lab will cover Nipple Sparing Mastectomy.

The Hands-On Cadaver Workshop will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital Castele Learning Center. The didactic sessions will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019, at the InterContinental Hotel and Bank of America Conference Center, both located in Cleveland, Ohio.

Learning Objectives:
After completing this educational activity, the participant will be able to do the following:
• Discuss new developments of immune score diagnoses in breast ca ncer patients and other cancers
• Summarize the roles of par tial breast radiation and other novel approaches
• Explain the role of novel immunotherapy agents
• Discuss breast cancer management, including novel HER -2 targeted agents, as well cancer vaccinations
• Identify the role of PD -1, PDL-1 and the new standards for HER -2 testing in breast cancer
• Examine options for management of ar tificial intelligence in breast imaging or radiological aspect of immune response assessment criteria
• Present and review cases demonstrating the multidisciplinar y approach to patient care by a panel of experts from each of the areas (Imaging, Medical Oncology, Breast/Plastic Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, etc.)
• Review new treatments in ER+ breast cancer, including CDK 4/6 and PI3K inhibitors
