This is a time of unprecedented discovery and advances in neuropsychiatric genetics. With the growing understanding of the genetic and molecular basis of neuropsychiatric disorders, new opportunities for treatment of these disorders are on the horizon. WCPG is the premier international scientific meeting for research in psychiatric genetics and related areas of research. Leading experts from national and international research centers in the area of neuroscience and genetics will be participating.

The theme of this year’s WCPG, “Achieving Precision Psychiatry” aims to examine the precise discipline of psychiatric genetics and educate all researchers in neuroscience, neurobiology, and genetics. “Achieving Precision Psychiatry” will be paramount in order to develop new treatments for people with major mental illness. Scientists from all over the world will again come together for this five-day conference to share their expertise, research findings and personal experiences with the goal of improving the quality of life for those living with psychiatric disorders.
