2019 The Korean Society of Medical Informatics spring Conference is organized by Medrang Inc., Korean Society of Medical Informatics (KOSMI) and will be held from Jul 11 - 12, 2019 at Korea University Medical School Main Building, Seongbuk Gu, Seoul, South Korea.

How are you? 
I'm Lee Sang-heon, head of the organizing committee for the 2019 AIK Spring Conference. It is an honor to host this year's Spring Conference at Korea University's Anam Hospital. 

Not long ago, Korea opened the world's first 5G network and now consumer-tailored new services will be introduced to our lives. In the medical field, innovation using AI technology has taken place, and we are approaching the implementation of precision medical care such as patient-oriented prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

Korea University Medical Center is building a next-generation hospital information system, which is an optimal ICT infrastructure for precision medicine, at its three affiliated hospitals - Anam, Guro and Ansan. This will be the first time in the world to adopt an enterprise-class cloud-based hospital information system. 

The cloud-based hospital information system platform will create a new concept of shared information system ecosystem by sharing it with the nation's leading hospitals. In addition, medical terms such as clinical terms and nursing terms will be standardized so that each program in the system can be connected and integrated to add convenience of information exchange between inside and outside the hospital, and high quality consistent medical big data will be produced to realize precision medical care. And with a shared hospital information system platform between hospitals, patients can have a lifetime of medical records, continuity of treatment anytime, anywhere, and patient-tailored prevention, management and optimal treatment. 

The Spring Conference of the Korean Medical Information Society has set the stage for communication with top experts in each field under the theme "One Patient, One Record" in this regard. We hope that many of you will attend the various and informative academic chapters we have prepared for you to have a rich academic and human exchange in the field of health, medical and information.
