2019 The Korea Society for NeuroRehabilitation The 6th Specialized Training Course for Rigid Specialization is organized by Medrang Inc., Korean Society for NeuroRehabilitation (KSNR) and will be held on Jul 07, 2019 at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital Health Care Innovation Park (HIP), Bundang gu, Gyeonggi, South Korea.

Description:
Spasticity is one of several symptoms of hyperkinetic neuropathy, which is caused by damage to the central nervous system, such as stroke, traumatic brain damage, brain tumor, and spinal cord injury. Rigidity has a wide variety of clinical aspects, including yet to be clearly identified, which requires a lot of experience and training for accurate assessment and effective treatment. 

Depending on the region and degree of rigidity, a wide variety of clinical patterns can occur, which can often interfere with the intensive rehabilitation and recovery of subacute organs, cause difficulties in performing daily operations, or, if sustained without proper treatment, can lead to complications such as joint construction and deformation. On the other hand, in some cases, it is known that there are positive aspects of rigidity, such as helping to maintain weight during standing and walking exercises, or preventing muscular dystrophy or bone density reduction on the part of paralysis. Therefore, it is important to have a comprehensive understanding of and appropriate evaluation of the hard work in patients with impaired central nervous system and to apply appropriate treatment for each patient. 

This year, the Korean Brain Neurorehabilitation Society prepared an expert curriculum for a comprehensive understanding of the career, ranging from the pathogenesis of rigidity to the correct evaluation and treatment of clinical patterns, and especially through expert input on the treatment strategy and case-by-case approach based on clinical symptoms as well as individual treatment for the career. In addition, we will share information on the use of botulinum toxin injections in various clinical situations, such as mild myocardial muscle strain and chronic migraine pain, which are common in rehabilitation medicine and outpatient surgery. 

This is the nation's only rigid professional training course dealing with the whole of rigidity. We hope that this course will help you develop a wide range of knowledge of clinicians' common career experience, which will help rehabilitate patients suffering from a number of inflexibility in the medical field.
