2019 IAIME Mid-Year Medicolegal Fundamentals Training Course is organized by International Academy of Independent Medical Evaluators (IAIME) and will be held from Aug 02 - 04, 2019 at Philadelphia Marriott West, Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Physicians, Chiropractors, and Psychologists/Psychiatrists. Also welcome are Case Managers, Claims Representatives, Allied Health Professionals including Physical Therapists, Occupational Health Nurses, and Legal, Insurance, or Risk Management Professionals who can gain valuable insight into the medicolegal evaluation process.

The International Academy of Independent Medical Evaluators (IAIME) designates this educational activity for a maximum of 38.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate to the extent of their participation in the activity.
The International Academy of Independent Medical Evaluators is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Objectives:
In completing this course, the attendee will:
• Learn the skills necessary for successful evidence-based medicolegal evaluation
• Learn and apply proven medicolegal practice management techniques
• Learn to properly apply impairment rating systems in the administrative environment
• Learn methods, procedures and skills for proper evaluation of impairment
• Learn and apply proper use of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (4th, 5th or 6th Edition)
• Learn how to successfully report and communicate medicolegal concepts to nonmedical and medical stakeholders
• Be able to change practice pattern to improve outcomes
• Gain partial educational credit toward IAIME Fellowship
