• Abstract or Learning Objectives – Recent clinical data underline the importance of a sufficient mucosal thickness to provide healthy peri-implant tissues and favorable esthetics. A newly developed volume-stable collagen matrix provides similar outcomes with respect to soft tissue volume, but is associated with less morbidity and complications than autogenous grafts, thereby offering significant benefits for patients and clinicians.
