2019 AVA Global Health Summit is organized by Academy on Violence and Abuse (AVA) and will be held from Oct 03 - 04, 2019 at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States of America.

• Research that sheds light on the biological pathways through which exposure to violence and/or
abuse affects physical and/or mental health
• Inter-professional curricula related to teaching about violence and abuse
• New findings from neuroscience and biochemistry of changes resulting from abuse and methods
of measuring or identifying these changes
• Promising ways of modifying or reversing health effects in the exposed population
