This regional conference seeks to bring ophthalmology and otolaryngology professionals together and offer current evidence-based education providing new techniques, technologies and changes in the field that is applicable to clinical practice. Ophthalmology will include topics on best practice guidelines for refractive and cataract surgeries along with education from OMIC regarding malpractice litigation. Otolaryngology will include topics on cochlear implant and hypoglossal nerve stimulator candidates, rhinoplasty and facial reconstructive techniques, as well as a special focus on provider burnout remedies.

• Review most up-to-date best practice guidelines for cataract surgery

• Discuss when and who to refer a patient for cochlear implant evaluation
• Describe new rhinoplasty and facial reconstructive techniques
• Identify signs and symptoms of burnout and have a general understanding as to how to rectify burnout
• Review who is a candidate for hypoglossal nerve stimulator for obstructive sleep apnea
