Cornea Day 2018 is organized by American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and will be held on Apr 13, 2018 at Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, Dist Of Col, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Practicing ophthalmologists who care for patients with corneal-related conditions. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

The 2018 ASCRS•ASOA Annual Meeting will be held during Apr 13 - 17, 2018 will provide high-quality education for anterior segment physicians, practice managers, ophthalmic technicians and nurses and support staff. ASCRS Subspecialty Day will be held on Apr 13, 2018 which has:
• ASCRS Refractive Day
• ASCRS Glaucoma Day
• Cornea Day
Eyeworld Events, COE Review, Technicians, and Nurses Program, COA/COT/COMT Exam Review Sessions will be held during rest of days.
Registrants of the ASCRS and ASOA programs are welcome to attend either or both,
but must register in their designated category specific to their credentials.
Conference Description :
Cornea Day 2018 is a unique program. Through panel discussions, case studies, debates, and surgical video reviews, this program will provide a comprehensive overview of surgical challenges, management of inflammation and infections, ocular surface advances and what’s trending, and debates and lively exchanges on topics ranging from crosslinking to premium IOLs.
Conference Objectives are :
• Evaluate how to integrate crosslinking into practice
• Compare and contrast modalities for ocular surface reconstruction
• Implement strategies to identify and efficiently manage patients with ocular surface disease/dry eye disease preoperatively
• Compare and contrast new advances in dry eye disease
• Incorporate methods and pearls to successfully perform anterior segment surgery with concurrent corneal disease
• Implement strategies to transition from DSAEK to DMEK
• Analyze the indications and surgical techniques for newer forms of lamellar keratoplasty
