10th Annual WIN Symposium
OVERVIEW
10th Annual Worldwide innovative networking (WIN) Symposium is organized by Congress by design and will be held during Jun 25 - 26, 2018 at Novotel Tour Eiffel Hotel, Paris, Ile-de-France, France.
The WIN symposium remains the only event of its kind that enables all stakeholders of cancer care, from academia, industry, patients advocacy to regulatory agencies to present their latest advances and share in a very candid way the latest innovations in cancer personalized medicine.
This year the symposium has the privilege to welcome the who’s who of oncology with outstanding speakers such as Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn, President of Salk Institute, winner of the 2009 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine. Dr. Blackburn is widely recognized for her discovery of how chromosomes are protected by telomeres and for her co-discovery of the enzyme telomerase, which plays a key role in cell replication, cell aging, and human cancers. Her research has revolutionized the understanding of how cells function and has been called one of the most important discoveries in the field of molecular genetics. Dr. Carl H. June, will participate on a panel and discuss the future of drug development for Precision Oncology. Dr. June is the Director of Center for Cellular Immunotherapies at the Perelman School of Medicine, and Director of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy at the University of Pennsylvania. Recently awarded ASCO’s prestigious 2017 David A.Karnofsky Memorial Award, he has been a pioneer in the field of immunotherapy, most widely known for the development of CAR T-cell therapy for cancer.
Other keynote speakers are NCI Director James H. Doroshow, ESMO President Elect Josep Tabernero, Chief Medical Officer of ASCO Richard L. Schilsky, and President of Friends of Cancer Research Ellen V. Sigal.
