Update on Dental Trauma Course is organized by Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California (USC) and will be held on Mar 03, 2018 at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, Los Angeles, California, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 7 Continuing Education Credits.
This course will provide the participants with the latest information about traumatic dental injuries to teeth. It will cover longitudinal and impact trauma etiology, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and prevention. Longitudinal tooth fractures include cracks and vertical root fractures. Impact trauma includes concussion, subluxations, locations, intrusions, and avulsions. Up to date guidelines, including online, will be presented.
The lecture will also cover the different types of mouthguards. A laboratory component will also demonstrate the fabrication of mouth-guards.
