In Person - Calgary Pain Conference is organized by University of Calgary - Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development and will be held during May 07 - 08, 2018 at MacEwan Centre, Main Campus, University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
COURSE OVERVIEW:
The content of this conference covers advances in pain research and treatment, the prevention and management of acute and chronic pain and provides an overview of available programs and resources in Calgary. it will be of interest to all healthcare providers.
The Conference is comprised of three sections:
The full-day course, May 7th, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The Public Forum, May 7th, 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.
Breakfast with Lorimer Mosely at Hotel Alma, May 8th, 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The intent of the conference is for learners to:
• employ knowledge and skills for prevention and management of acute and chronic pain
• identify programs and services available for treatment of acute and chronic pain in Calgary
• describe knowledge of advances in pain research
