• Describe the best use of ultrasound for paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis
• Describe the most effective diagnostic use of both new and marketed ultrasound devices
• Describe the issues associated with pediatric ultrasound
• Highlight basic science of ultrasound techniques and interpret their implications for clinical practice
