OVERVIEW
42nd Annual UCSF CME: Antepartum-Intrapartum Management is organized by The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Office of Continuing Medical Education and will be held during Jun 07 - 09, 2018 at Hotel Nikko San Francisco, San Francisco, California, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is designed for physicians, midwives, obstetric nurses, and trainees. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 18.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Description :
This course stresses antepartum and intrapartum assessment and clinical management in obstetrics. On the first day, various aspects of prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, antepartum conditions, and maternal complications of pregnancy are covered. The second day is largely devoted to fetal heart rate interpretation and management of fetal heart rate patterns. The third day continues with discussions of potential complications of pregnancy and appropriate management.
Conference Objectives are :
• Counsel patients regarding new genetic tests for prenatal diagnosis.
• Manage and treat selected maternal medical complications of pregnancy using evidencebased guidelines.
• Appropriately manage fetal heart rate patterns during labor.
• Apply the evidence for intermittent auscultation and correct method of conducting intermittent auscultation.
• Identify appropriate strategies for managing diabetes in pregnancy.
