OVERVIEW

Cardiac MRI in Today's Clinical Practice is organized by The University of Chicago - Center for Continuing Medical Education and will be held on Apr 28, 2018 at University of Chicago: Gleacher Center, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is cardiology and radiology physicians, fellows, and residents and other healthcare professionals interested in the clinical applications of cardiac magnetic resonance. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 8.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
This activity will provide an interdisciplinary educational forum led by internationally recognized physicians in the field of cardiac imaging. Participants will learn about the latest scientific advances, technologies, and best practices in cardiac imaging during an engaging and dynamic day of learning in the heart of Chicago

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Discuss the various cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) techniques that are commonly used in clinical practice;
• Discuss the assessment of ischemia and viability using CMR;
• Describe how to assess non-ischemic cardiomyopathy using CMR;
• Summarize the major assessment techniques of arrhythmias using CMR;
• Identify how to assess vascular, valvular, and pericardial disorders using CMR.
