The second week of sessions will be held at the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI).
Course Objectives :
• Apply broad strategic knowledge of the health care system in which you work to planning and implementing changes in health care delivery at the organizational and unit level
• Articulate your highest priorities as a leader of a health care delivery organization or clinical department and as a member of the leadership group in your institution
• Demonstrate insight and appreciation into the external challenges and changes occurring in health care systems worldwide as well as options for effective responses
• Employ concepts and frameworks in key management disciplines, including operations, patient safety, quality improvement, innovation, financial management and control, and performance improvement
• Incorporate improvement methods when diagnosing and solving problems
• Employ best practices on leading and managing health care organizations
