Course Description :
The purpose of this educational activity is to present case-based approaches to the diagnosis and management of patients with pulmonary hypertension.

Conference Objectives are:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Explain the approach to the diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension in different clinical presentations
• Describe the differences in treatment strategies used by the care team, using a case-based approach
• Outline the ways to risk stratify patients with different forms of pulmonary hypertension
• Discuss the role of advanced treatments used by the interdisciplinary care team for a patient with a pulmonary embolism
• Review the risks associated with surgery and pregnancy in pulmonary hypertension
