The 31st Annual Infectious Diseases in Children (IDC) Symposium is organized by Association & Meeting Solutions (AMS) and will be held during Nov 17 - 18, 2018 at Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel, New York City, New York, United States of America.

• Summarize management and treatment options for fever and recurrent fever syndromes in infants and children
• Evaluate new information regarding the assessment and treatment of syphilis and staphylococcus aureus infections
• Outline the updated understanding and treatment of Kawasaki disease
• Review evidence-based literature about pediatric infectious diseases published over the past year
• Evaluate emerging infections and comprehensive management practices
• Examine current challenges of, and management practices for vector-borne infectious diseases
• Summarize current treatment of mononucleosis
• Explore issues that present in the outpatient setting, including the interpretation of test results, accessing guidelines, and the use of social media
• Outline diagnostic approaches for suspected infectious diseases
• Examine infectious disease risks in patients who are receiving biologic response modifiers
• Review cases for which pediatric infectious disease guidance has been sought over the phone
