Synapses are the fundamental building blocks of neural circuits. Probing synaptic transmission requires the integration of multiple experimental and analytical approaches including genetics, molecular biology, biophysics and electrophysiology. The Gordon Research Seminar on Synaptic Transmission brings together graduate students and postdoctoral researchers engaged in cutting edge research on synaptic function to share their work and discuss emerging trends in the field of synaptic transmission.
