The target audience for this medical event is Pediatricians, Emergency Medicine Specialists, Allergy/ Immunology Specialists, Nurses, Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Nurses, Residents, Medical Students and other Healthcare Professionals who care for patients with allergic and immunologic disorders. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 14.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description :

The conference will focus on the latest breakthroughs and recommendations to evaluate the management of common upper airway disorders, adult immunodeficiency, and mast cell biology and diseases. Other subjects include beta lactam allergy; severe urticaria/ angioedema; atopic dermatitis; cough; and food allergy, diagnosis and treatment.

Learning Objectives :

• Recognize and treat common upper airway diseases in clinical practice
• Evaluate a patient with possible adult immunodeficiency
• Describe mast cell biology and disorders
• Identify how to evaluate the patient for beta lactam allergy
• Evaluate and treat severe urticaria/angioedema, atopic dermatitis, and chronic cough
• Explain how component testing helps confirm food allergy
• List how NIH guidelines prevent peanut allergy.
