Surgical and Medical Management of Hirschsprung Disease is organized by Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and will be held during Jul 11 - 13, 2018 at John G. Rangos Sr. Research Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Pediatric Surgeons, Gastroenterologist, Pediatricians, Radiologists, Pediatric Fellows, and Pediatric Nurses that are managing patients with colorectal issues.
Objectives:
• Explain the current workup for the precise diagnosis of Hirschsprung disease, idiopathic constipation and fecal incontinence.
• Identify the key steps of the transanal approach for the surgical treatment of Hischsprung disease.
• Discuss the rational practice of the bowel management program for patients with fecal incontinence, colitis for Hirschsprung, and idiopathic constipation.
