Sudden Cardiac Death Awareness and Prevention is organized by Inova CME and will be held on Apr 28, 2018 at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, Falls Church, Virginia, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Pediatric and Adult Cardiologist, Sports Medicine Physicians, Internists, Pediatricians, Family Practice/Internal Medicine Physicians, Pediatric Electrophysiologists, All other healthcare professionals with an interest in sports cardiology and sudden cardiac arrest will benefit from this education opportunity. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Description:
This conference will address the needs of clinicians, nurses, and genetic counselors that treat and or refer patients who may be at risk of life-threatening arrhythmias resulting from channelopathies or cardiomyopathies. Participants will gain knowledge on procedural skill set as it relates to the diagnosis and prevention of sudden death, treatment of inherited cardiovascular disease, and cardiovascular care for all children and adolescents. They will also be able to apply and implement the best screening tools in clinical practice. The conference will utilize lectures, breakout sessions by specialty, interdisciplinary sessions, and case-based learning.
