Stroke Symposium Alberta is organized by University of Calgary - Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development and will be held on Mar 23, 2018 at Health Sciences Centre, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
COURSE OVERVIEW:
Stroke diagnosis, management and recovery focused on what you need to know in the office-based setting. The course will review what happens in acute stroke, how to manage recovery and stroke-related recovery issues including spasticity and driving and how to assess and treat preventively after stroke.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The intent of the conference is for learners to:
• select established and innovative strategies for stroke prevention, treatment and management
• expedite the diagnostic work-up process
• apply the referral process for sub-specialty care
