Neurostimulation Bio-Skills Lab is organized by Spine Intervention Society (SIS) and will be held on Aug 15, 2018 at Hilton Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is physicians who perform spine intervention procedures. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
Technological advances and strong evidence of efficacy are setting the stage for expanded demand for Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) therapy to assist our most challenging spine pain patients. To succeed in this burgeoning practice area, you need to be proficient in SCS lead placement for both lumbar and cervical regions, understand driving and positioning surgical techniques for spinal stimulation placement, understand potential complications, know the supportive literature, review case presentations, and be aware of current and future trends for neurostimulation technologies. The SIS Neurostimulation course addresses these aspects plus gives you intense, hands-on training in surgical implantation techniques in small-groups.

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

• Apply programming and medical management for neuromodulation devices; and
• Name the literature support for the validity of the modalities.
