OVERVIEW
Southern Endodontic Study Group (SESG) Annual Meeting is organized by Southern Endodontic Study Group (SESG) and will be held during Jun 14 - 16, 2018 at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, Greensboro, Georgia, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event is Dentists.
Course Description :
In the last few years, we’ve noticed the incorporation of new ideas challenging the classic approaches to endodontic treatment. Te use of real-time 3D analysis, magnification, conforming files, and non-invasive Micro CT evaluations of the root canal anatomy have introduced innovative viewpoints on the preservation of tooth structure, root canal disinfection, and tooth survivability. However, some of these theories have not yet supported by the existing evidence. This presentation intends to address the important aspects of endodontic practice based on the most current evidence in the literature. Te reasons to incorporate limited volume CBCT, magnification, thermal-treated instruments, and Bioceramic materials will be discussed as well as the biological standpoints regarding the management of the mature and immature permanent teeth with apical periodontitis.
Conference Objectives:
• Explain the decision-making process based on contemporary technology and materials.
• Recite the treatment alternatives and proper approaches on immature permanent teeth with apical periodontitis.
• Identify and explain the paramount evidence-based treatment outcomes and prognosis.
