Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS) Minimally Invasive Surgery Week Annual Meeting is organized by Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS) and will be held from Aug 29 - Sep 01, 2018 at Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel, New York, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is surgeons, residents, fellows, nurses, and technical support staff within all
specialties who wish to increase their knowledge of laparoscopic, minimally invasive and robotic surgical, endoscopic and diagnostic techniques. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 23.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Educational Methods & Attendee Objectives:
The increasing complexity of minimally invasive diagnostics and therapy requires a continuous educational process. The exchange of knowledge and expertise among the physicians taking part in this conference contributes to continuing excellence and improved outcomes in minimally invasive surgery. SLS MISWeek employs a variety of educational formats including topical general sessions, scientific paper presentations, posters, and original videos presented in small specialty-specific breakout sessions, and informal gatherings of participants and expert faculty.
Upon completion of the conference, participants will be able to:
• Increase their comprehension of the basic and fundamental principles of laparoscopic, endoscopic, robotic and minimally invasive techniques, and have an enhanced understanding of these techniques;
• Understand recent advances and clinical applications in laparoscopic, endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques;
• Determine the appropriate use of laparoscopic, endoscopic and minimally invasive technologies as part of a treatment plan in the care of patients;
