The SABM Patient Blood Management (PBM) Certificate Course with Exam will be on September 12, one day before the Annual Meeting. The 2018 Annual Meeting will take place from Sep 13-15, 2018. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 27 CME/CE credit hours.

Conference Description:
The principal goal of this meeting is to educate attendees in patient blood management, which includes the timely application of evidence-based medical and surgical concepts designed to maintain hemoglobin concentration, optimize hemostasis, and minimize blood loss in an effort to improve patient outcomes. The target audience is medical professionals who care for anemic and surgical patients and administrators who are interested in improving patient outcomes while reducing healthcare costs. SABM is a multi-disciplinary organization, and meeting attendance includes a wide variety of medical specialties, comparable to the composition of our membership.
