Simulation Educator Training (SET) Course is organized by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and will be held during Sep 25 - 27, 2018 at The University of Ottawa Skills and Simulation Centre (uOSCC), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
The target audience for this medical event is health care professionals who are currently or planning to be engaged in simulation-based education. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 27.25 hours.
Course Objectives:
• Develop a simulation curriculum and integrate with other learning activities
• Design, develop, facilitate and evaluate simulation cases and simulation sessions
• Provide effective feedback and debriefing
• Describe the principles informing performance based assessment
• Describe the foundations of program evaluation for simulation programs
