Program to Enhance Relational and Communication Skills in Radiology is organized by Boston Children's Hospital and will be held on Apr 28, 2018 at Landmark Center, Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is course is designed to enhance the practice of radiology physicians, residents and fellows, physician assistants, nurses practitioners, nurses, technicians, and patient advocates. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits

Radiologists face increasing expectations to communicate directly with patients, but few educational opportunities exist to help radiologists feel prepared and confident in their communication skills. The specific skills required to effectively lead difficult conversations, while not taught in most radiology training programs, are key factors for the success and satisfaction of clinicians and patients alike. Moreover, they are essential to the successful transition to value-based, patient-centered care.

• Identify Communication Strategies and Relationship-building Approaches for Effective Communication With Patients About Bad News, Medical Errors, and Radiation Risks
