OVERVIEW

Procedural Planning with Cardiovascular Computed Tomography: Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and Beyond is organized by Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) and will be held from Nov 09 - 11, 2018 at The Wond'ry, Nashville, Tennessee, United States of America.

Course Description:
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is rapidly changing the management of patient’s with aortic valve disease and cardiovascular CT plays a major role in procedural planning. During this course you will learn from a multi-disciplinary expert faculty using a hands-on case-based approach.

Course Objectives:
Upon completing the course learners will be able to:
• Apply cardiovascular CT to optimize clinical outcome in TAVI/TAVR with a focus on annular sizing, device selection and strategies to reduce potential complications.

• Utilize image processing workstations from multiple vendors to make standardize measurements consistently and reproducibly.

• Identify unfavorable aortic root and vascular anatomy and identify and evaluate alternative approaches.

• Describe the variants of aortic valve, coronary sinus and coronary ostia anatomy and how they may impact management of aortic valve disease.
