Practical Guide to Treating Dental Patients with Special Health Care Needs is a free continuing education course for dental professionals hoping to improve their ability to care for individuals with special health care needs (ISHCN).
Conference Objectives are :
• Identify at least one strategy for communication and/or behavioral guidance while providing treatment for ISCHN.
• Identify at least one chronic condition or disability and a potential orofacial implication linked to that condition.
• Identify at least one adaptation or modification to allow ISHCN to improve their daily oral hygiene.
