Penn Orthopaedics 2018 Cartilage Repair Symposium

Penn Orthopaedics 2018 Cartilage Repair Symposium is organized by Penn Medicine and will be held from Sep 07 - 08, 2018 at Smilow Center for Translational Research, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

The target audinece for this medical event is orthopaedic surgeons, non-operative sports medicine physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers, nurses, and physician assistants to learn about the latest techniques in cartilage repair. With a focus on basic science, we also attract the best scientists and engineers to present their cutting edge work. In addition, we will be offering free admission for up to two (2) residents from the Orthopaedic Surgery programs at each of the major medical centers in the region.

Course Description:
The symposium will include invited talks by key thought leaders in the field of cartilage biology, biomaterials, stem cells, tissue engineering, animal models, and imaging, as well as clinical methods for the treatment of cartilage damage in the knee. Speakers will also discuss rehabilitative protocols that promote successful recovery.
