2018 Clinical Vaccinology Course is organized by National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) and will be held from Nov 09 - 10, 2018 at Hyatt Regency Bethesda, Bethesda, Maryland, United States of America. This course will provide the latest information on important developments in clinical vaccinology and the use of vaccines.

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Describe the current Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) immunization recommendations across the lifespan
• Describe indications, contraindications, efficacy, and safety profiles for ACIP-recommended vaccines including recommendations for people with immunocompromising and medical conditions as well as international travelers and healthcare personnel
• Discuss innovative and practical strategies to improve communication with patients, parents, and caregivers about the risks and benefits of vaccination
• Recognize attitudinal, knowledge, and other barriers contributing to suboptimal vaccination rates
• Identify best practices for implementing or improving immunization programs in specific practice settings
