MS and CNS Neuroimmunology: Advances and Updates is organized by Oregon Health And Science University (OHSU) and will be held on Mar 03, 2018 at Portland State University Collaborative Life Sciences Building, Portland, Oregon, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Neurologists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
This full-day accredited symposium will explore diagnosis, management, and treatment challenges in MS and CNS neuroimmunology disorders. Advances and updates in neuroimmunology research as well as challenging cases will be explored and discussed.
Conference Objectives:
At the conclusion of the symposium attendees will be able to:
• Summarize the historical evolution of neuroimmunology of the Central Nervous System, and recognize the complexity of neuroimmunological disorders.
• Identify and discuss challenges in diagnosing multiple sclerosis including disorders that mimic the disease.
• Discuss CNS Neurosarcoidosis diagnosis criteria and management of the disease.
• Describe the diagnostic criteria for autoimmune encephalitis and assess treatment options.
• Identify the challenges of managing NMDA R encephalitis and evaluate options for treatment.
• Identify and discuss tumefactive multiple sclerosis diagnostic challenges.
• Discuss and apply diagnosis and management techniques for pediatric neuromyelitis optica.
