Module VII Autoimmune Disease & Inflammation Course is organized by Tarsus CNS and will be held during Sep 28 - 30, 2018 at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, Nashville, Tennessee, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Naturopathic doctors, Internal Medicine, General Medicine, Family Practice, Gastroenterologists, Nutritionists, Pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants involved in the treatment of patients with inflammation and autoimmune diseases. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 24.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Course Description:
The incidence of all autoimmune diseases has increased dramatically in the last several decades. Module VII explores the major autoimmune diseases that are now present in modern society from an Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine approach. Chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, Grave’s disease, and lupus; to name just a few, will be examined. Furthermore, the role that toxins play in the body will be elucidated. Inflammation is a component of most chronic diseases. This module also investigates new therapies for major inflammatory illnesses. In addition, the role that low-dose naltrexone plays as a therapy for autoimmune disease will be examined. The participant will leave this course with the ability to prescribe low-dose naltrexone and new therapies for pain control. In addition, insights will be gained into the role toxic burden plays in the patient’s overall health and the attendee will learn detoxification methods including chelation.
Conference Objectives are :
• Identify the micronutrient insufficiencies that lead to DNA and mitochondrial damage
• Recognize the intracellular signaling pathways, cellular biology, and molecular biology of immunity and inflammation
• Describe the important interactions of the endocrine system with immunity
• Discuss gastrointestinal manifestations of autoimmune disease
• Review the role of heavy metals, genes, environment, and biotoxic exposures in autoimmunity
• Compare integrative oncology protocols and immune nutritional support techniques

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. If you are calling to cancel, for verification we will still require you to send an email to info@brainweek.org with your intent to cancel. You will receive confirmation of your cancellation via email.
We will offer a 100% refund within 72 hours from the time of purchase less $100 credit card processing fee.
After 72 hours, refunds will be less 50%. All refund requests must be made in writing and post marked or tax stamped no later than 90 days before the event.
No refund will be made if the request is made within 90 days of the educational event. Refunds will not be issued to non-show registrants.
Substitutions are always welcome in lieu of cancellation. No transfers to alternate events will be made if the request is submitted within 90 days of the original event.
Persons who register and fail to attend will not receive a refund. BRAINWeek, at its sole discretion, may transfer your registration to an upcoming conference or to a healthcare provider colleague. Cancellation of your conference registration does not automatically cancel your hotel room reservation. Please contact the hotel to cancel your room; penalties may apply.
