Medical Physics and Technology for Radiation Oncologists is organized by University of Heidelberg and will be held on Jun 16, 2018 at Heidelberg Ion-Beam Therapy Center (HIT), Heidelberg, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.
Course Description:
From imaging and radiation planning to treatment techniques, the Medical Physics and Technology course for radio-oncologists brings physicians closer to the physical and technical foundations. In addition, the treatment techniques are physically presented by a physicist as well as from a medical perspective by a physician.
The continuing education offer is aimed at physically and technically interested physicians.

• Image-guided and adaptive radiotherapy
• Brachytherapy

• Particle therapy
• Dosimetry of small fields
