UCSF CME: Laryngeal Endostroboscopy and FEES: Performance and Interpretation is organized by The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Office of Continuing Medical Education and will be held during Mar 07 - 09, 2018 at Facial Plastic Voice & Swallow, San Francisco, California, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is designed for the otolaryngologist and speech-language pathologist to gain knowledge and skill in the performance and interpretation of laryngeal stroboscopy and flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES). This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 22.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Description :
Principles of laryngeal and upper aerodigestive function will be discussed so that the clinician will understand the necessity and the true diagnostic potential of laryngeal endostroboscopy and FEES. Several hours of hands-on laboratory sessions will develop skills in the clinical performance of each examination. Interpretation techniques for the beginner through advanced clinician will be presented through didactic lectures and applied during interactive case presentations. Finally, equipment and billing considerations required to build a voice and swallowing practice will be discussed.
